I am currently a post-doctoral fellow at the Community Ecology and Conservation Group at Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
During my PhD, I studied the impact of abiotic and densities of seedlings and adult trees on seedling survival within degraded forests. I am particularly interested in applying different analytical analysis models on the factors affecting seedling survival at different time interval, focusing on the changes across time.
Currently, my research focuses on the impact of forest fragmentation as a result of land use changes and deforestation within Xishuangbanna on seedling long-term viability. Specifically, I work on seedling survival within different fragmented landscapes configuration and the landscape genetic integrity across fragments.
